COURSE DESCRIPTION
With ENRON and similar corporate fraud scandals, workplace ethics have assumed a far more prominent role in the U.S. workplace. This program uses a combination of lecture and problem-solving to ensure the attendees understand the employer’s commitment to conducting business at the highest level of ethics, and the content of the organization’s Code of Ethics. The program addresses a wide range of common ethical issues, including:
- Conflicts of interest
- Gift giving and receiving
- Protection of proprietary information
- Anti-competitive conduct
- Corporate fraud and abuse
- Accurate recordkeeping, including time and expense reporting
The program also covers the employer’s policy for reporting and resolving Code of Ethics and standard ethical violations.
This half day program may also be delivered as a full day, with additional problem-solving exercises and skill building.
This program may be eligible for SPHR recertification credits and PDUs.
